Cranial Manipulations

A patient receiving cranial manipulations at ICE

Our unique technique of cranial bone manipulations may assist with recovery in addition to your spinal complaints and symptoms including:

  • sinus pressure
  • jaw pain or TMJD
  • headaches
  • vertigo
  • tinnitus
  • dizziness

Within the chiropractic scope, and specifically with our doctors extremity background, cranial bone manipulations can be a game-changer for many suffering with chronic migraine, headache, and sinus problems.

Our skull is made up of 22 different bones. These bones essentially fit together like a 3-d puzzle, and if they shift (very subtely), they can add up to create one giant shift that becomes a mechanical irritant for the sinuses and other structures including nerves, ear canals, and the palate (top of the mouth). This can also be a potential source for some people who experience other symptoms including vertigo and dizziness.

Our doctors apply gentle pressure to these specific bones in a specific order to help restore alignment and take pressure off the irritated structures. This particular technique is another unique service that can only be found at ICE.
